Wednesday – New WIP
Happy Wednesday!
My floating event for the first three days of this week on my calendar/planner was to baste my May OMG quilt. As usual I’m procrastinating. 🙂
In my defense I weighed basting vs starting new project on my joy scale — basting lost 🙂
I am happy to share with you my smaller version of Missouri Star Quilt Company Totally Tulip Quilt Pattern. The link will take you to the MSQC video if you are interested in making one for yourself.
I used 2 charm packs of Lily Ashbury’s Fancy. I love the bright colors! My quilt top measures 60 x 72 inches.

Good news is it’s still light outside so I can baste my OMG quilt and do laundry – another low ranking item on my joy scale!
Until next time ~Happy Sewing~
This looks great! I’ve seen that pattern as well and am considering doing it.

I think you will enjoy the pattern – the blocks are rectangular and big!

I love the Totally Tulips quilt. It is so bright and cheerful, no wonder it rates high on the joy scale!

The tulip quilt is so pretty! If I didn’t have projects I need to stay focused on, I’d stop everything and make one. Haha! Too many projects I want to make (and who wants to think about laundry anyway???)

I think it’s so cool that you are testing a pattern! What an honor ❤️

The quilter made a call for testers, so keep an eye out as you read blogs. It’s kind of fun to do now and then!

This is such a happy quilt and a very fun way to play with colors! I think I will add this to my “to do” list as I love tulips. Thanks for sharing!

This is SEW, SEW, SOOOOOOO stinkin’ cute. I love the tulips, and especially the fabric you chose. Yeah, my May OMG is floundering too. OMG – two weeks to go and I haven’t even looked at it yet. I have the post written for it already – mostly anyway – and I want it to post on the 25th. Hmm. Houston we may have a problem . . . if I don’t get on the stick. ~smile~ Roseanne

Your Totally Tulip is totally wonderful! A bright cheery way to start a day when you wake up with this quilt.
Sometimes I cut fabric on top of the dryer while the washer is going, two birds with one stone 😉

Thanks Abbie — good idea about the dryer! I’m trying to figure how to set something up in my TV room to cut fabric!

Now this is a PERFECT Spring quilt! I think the quilting bug is burrowing deep around your house. She is the only kind of bug that I don’t want to get rid of:)❤️❤️
